Slow made Japanese homewares

When we found this shape in Japan a couple of years ago we were instantly drawn to it. It's a clean design but rustic in one, with a textured, white coloured glaze and featuring a single blue brush line. The Gifu is named after the prefecture in which it comes from and because it exudes traditional charm. This cup, when held in the hands, is the perfect size and shape for a Japanese green tea.

Craft

This cup was made in a small workshop in Tajimi, Japan. We then fill each one with pure soy wax in our Surry Hills, Studio and using premium boutique scents.

Sustainability

All of our candles are designed to live longer than their burn life. once the wax is finished, wash with hot soapy water and you can use it as your new Japanese tea cup or bring it back to the store for a refill.
