This antique woven basket from Kyoto features two handles and two metal clasps to keep it shut. The inside is lined with a flowery-patterned linen and featured a pocket on the lid section for storage. It's old world charm makes it a must have piece for your home.

Our friend Kingy is based in Kyoto with her husband and baby daughter. She trawls through antique markets and hidden vintage stores in the area to find us amazing goodies.

Kingy is a photographer by trade and shoots the pieces she finds in her parent-in-law's old machiya in town.
