This bamboo sieve is originally used for rinsing rice and soba noodles but can also double as a fruit bowl or bread basket. Features intricately woven bamboo and four bamboo legs.

Our friend Kingy is based in Kyoto with her husband and baby daughter. She trawls through antique markets and hidden vintage stores in the area to find us amazing goodies.

Kingy is a photographer by trade and shoots the pieces she finds in her parent-in-law's old machiya in town.
