This set of five sake cups features a glossy, green drip glaze over a pale, off-white. Comes in an ornate but hardily crafted wooden box with cloth ties; this piece feels straight out of a museum. Found at an antiques market in Kyoto and sent to us for you to enjoy.

Our friend Kingy is based in Kyoto with her husband and baby daughter. She trawls through antique markets and hidden vintage stores in the area to find us amazing goodies.

Kingy is a photographer by trade and shoots the pieces she finds in her parent-in-law's old machiya in town.
