An incredible find, this saké bottle will also make a striking vase. The deep colour scheme with subtle details through the glaze gives it old world charm, while the practical shape makes it perfect for decanting rice wine or holding flowers and dried branches.

Our friend Kingy is based in Kyoto with her husband and baby daughter. She trawls through antique markets and hidden vintage stores in the area to find us amazing goodies.

Kingy is a photographer by trade and shoots the pieces she finds in her parent-in-law's old machiya in town.
