Pictures just don't do this incredible basket justice. From the 1950's, it features comfortable handles, little latches to keep your items safe and a beautifully woven inside. This special piece was found deep at an antique market in Kyoto.

Our friend Kingy is based in Kyoto with her husband and baby daughter. She trawls through antique markets and hidden vintage stores in the area to find us amazing goodies.

Kingy is a photographer by trade and shoots the pieces she finds in her parent-in-law's old machiya in town.
