What can we say, this platter is a retro and unique piece that caught our eye instantly. Found in Kyoto and sent back here so you can you enjoy it at home. It features a frill like edge and a stand, you use it to serve food or hold your special items like jewellery.

Our friend Kingy is based in Kyoto with her husband and baby daughter. She trawls through antique markets and hidden vintage stores in the area to find us amazing goodies.

Kingy is a photographer by trade and shoots the pieces she finds in her parent-in-law's old machiya in town.
