These antique trays are reminiscent of old science trays or letterpress trays used to seperate pieces into sections. We found these at an antique market in Osaka, it was worth braving the heat to find these gems.

Story

This was one of our longest sourcing trips, and also one of the hottest. It was peak summer while we were over there which meant we had to head to the markets early before the peak heat of the middle of the day. Albeit hot (and a little sweaty) we found so many great pieces on our travels through Osaka, Kyoto, Mashiko and Tokyo.
