This dinner plate features a textured surface and a beige coloured glazed, giving it a rustic feel. Hand made in Shiga, Japan and fired in one of the eldest kilns in the country, it's perfect for serving main meals on, as a centre piece in the table for shared food, or even on display in your kitchen.
Craft

This style of pottery is made in Koka city, Shiga Prefecture. It is counted as one of Japan's six ancient shrines, and is said to have a long history of 1260. You can tell Shigaraki from their textured clay and rustic glazes.
