About KUOE:

Uchimura, the designer and founder of the brand, went to London in 2010, to study abroad. While there he happened to enter a store that sells antique watches.
He was instantly captivated by the line-up of hand-wound wristwatches made in the 1940s and 70s, which continued to tick even after decades. After graduating from college, he worked on watches in Kyoto and accumulated as much knowledge as he could before launching his own brand in 2021.
