Kujo Negi is a soft and juicy Japanese green onion with a sweet, delicious flavour that suits many dishes. One of the traditional vegetables of the Kyoto region, this long, multi-stalked scallion has long been valued in Japan for its health-promoting properties. Rich in vitamin C, A and carotene, it is said to be good for colds, fatigue, and general metabolism.

Rapeseed oil makes an ideal neutral base for the gentle green flavour of the onion. With 6% garlic, and absolutely no bitterness, it imparts a subtle warmth to so many dishes - green vegetables, egg dishes, stews, marinades and dressings. This delightful oil is sure to become a staple in your kitchen.
