Hello, from Tokyo!

We are currently travelling through Japan, finding new and exciting things to bring home for you to enjoy. While a big part of our buying trips are about sourcing products (we even hired a car and drove through the craziness of Tokyo - yikes!), they are also about exploring new communities, meeting locals, over-eating and feeling inspired. Here’s a little overview of our trip so far and our favourite places.

03
Autumn Coffee + Records.

Until this trip, we hadn’t spent a lot of time in Setagaya, but this trendy and quiet little neighbourhood was such a delight that we started planning our future there.

Yuen Better Daita Ryokan.
05
Onsen.

We soaked in the onsen at Ryokan Yuen Better Daita, sipped coffee and listened to records at Autumn, spent a moment with the lucky cats at Gotokuji Temple (hoping they bring us good fortune) and drank natural wines while cassette mixtapes played at Chez Rona.

Chez Rona is a little French cafe that serves lunch. Whether you’re in the mood for coffee and crepes, or natural wines and a side of fromage, this little treasure will ensure you don’t want to leave. They play their own mixtapes on a cassette player too.
