Koishiwara Yaki pottery is a traditional pottery style designed for everyday use. This plate features a brown glaze and waved rim. We found this gem on our recent antique sourcing trip through Kyoto and Tokyo.

Story
We spent months trawling through Antique Markets and Vintage Stores all over Kyoto, Tokyo and around Japan to find a selection of unique and special pieces. Each item was hand selected and carefully packaged for a long journey to Australia.
It truly is our favourite part of the job, to source older pieces and give them a new life, and to continue their story. While some pieces have character look aged from the passing of time others are gems that have been hidden and cared for to keep them in near new condition.
