Scroll downA vintage 1948 Tokai & Hokuriku region, Japan. This mountainous region is lush with forests and incredible outdoor spaces. We love a framed antique map because it's a great way to fit an antique piece into both modern and classic interior design. We have had it box framed in solid Tassie Oak by a local Sydney framer ready to adorn your walls.
PICK UP ONLY - Due to the size and fragile nature of this artwork it is pick up only in our Surry Hills store, however, if you do want to get it delivered, please contact us at hello@providerstore.com.au and we can get a shipping quote for you.

Story:
Earlier this year while we were travelling through Japan, we came across many old maps and prints at antique markets and second hand stores. Each one we found was either a unique shape, featured striking colours, or had wear and tear that showed its age. We carefully brought them home and got them framed locally in Sydney.

Origin
Japan
From craggy mountains and undulating green tea plains to verdant forests and azure waters, the Tokai and Hokuriku Shinetsu regions’ diverse topographies offer an outdoor escape for all. The prefectures that make up these areas—Mie, Gifu, Aichi, Shizuoka and Yamanashi in Tokai, and Fukui, Ishikawa, Toyama, Nagano and Niigata in Hokuriku Shinetsu—are all resplendent in the seasonal, natural beauty that Japan is famous for.
