A beautifully handcrafted mug that is a lovely blend of minimal artistry and utility. Perfect for the home to enjoy your morning, afternoon or evening brew.

Working from a small studio on Gundungurra Land in the Wollondilly Shire, Melody Brunton seeks to creates works that celebrates the dynamicity of clay, attempting to capture the flux of the medium - immortalising the materials from the land into ceramic pieces.

Melody's work is also informed by her Japanese cultural roots, in tandem with the Australian context which she creates in. The Japanese sensibility of practical yet beautiful craft as expressed in Sotsue Yanagi exploration of mingei (hand-crafted art of ordinary people) is core to her practice.

Crafted to accompany the matching teapot or as a beautiful stand alone cup, this hand crafted teacup is the perfect vessel for sipping tea, coffee or any beverage for that matter.
