The Jun Candle is our biggest one to date. Featuring a double wick and a deep cup, this candle will burn for up to 60 hours. Once it's finish you can repurpose it as a matcha cup, a miso bowl or to store items around the home.

About mino pottery

Mino ware (Mino yaki in Japanese) refers to pottery made mainly in eastern Gifu Prefecture in the towns of Tajimi, Toki, Mizunami, and Kani. Presently, Mino ceramics accounts for around 50% of the total production of ceramics in Japan (Gifu Economic and Industrial Promotion Center, 2017 Ceramics Industry).

Ingredients & Craft

Located in Surry Hills, Sydney, is our studio where we pour all our candles by hand. Using pure soy wax and boutique fragrances. Each of our candles are designed to be used past their burn time as they are all Japanese cups.
Simply remove the wick, wash with hot soapy water and you can drink tea from it, or bring it back to the store for a refill.

Gifu is a city in central Japan. Gifu Castle overlooks the city from atop Mt. Kinka. A cable car connects the castle to Gifu Park at the foot of the mountain. Within the park, the Nawa Insect Museum displays thousands of butterflies and beetles. Kawaramachi Street is lined with traditional wood-latticed craft shops.
