Story
Founded in 1888, Kaneju Farm is a Japanese green tea farm located on the plateaus of Makinohara City in Shizuoka. As fifth generation tea farmers, Kaneju is always looking for ways to get the best out of the tea leaves. They utilise the highest quality leaves, harvested from the first flush that are full of nutrients and flavours developed over time. Using techniques from Japan and the world blended with a unique Makinohara twist, each tea is delivered straight from the farm to your cup.
"Between the soil that allows for water to easily flow through the fields, the climate of the region, and the amount of sunlight our tea fields get, our fields that stretch out like a limitless green tea sea on the Makinohara Plateau have the perfect conditions to grow in. And with our original, in-house method for tea production, we guarantee that every tea leaf that we produce will be loaded to the brim with a flavour that can only be produced by Kaneju Farm."
