Story

Tenjin factory has been weaving linen fabrics on classic shuttle looms for many years.Their workshop creates flexible and comfortable linens by mount fuji, Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan.

Tenjin’s special linen items are created for daily life. They weave fabrics and make each blanket, tea towel and bag  with comfort and practicality in mind.

The Tenjin Factory is located at an altitude of 700m, by the Mount Fuji. It’s an area blessed with snowmelt water from Mt. Fuji and beautiful crisp air. It is a traditional textile production area that has been renowned for the lining of Japanese clothing such as haori since ancient times. Tenjin Factory have taken this traditional method and used it to design modern home goods.
