We love meandering through the antique markets in Japan to find pieces that intrigue us and catch out eye, there are always new things to discover each time we visit. This super cool vintage Sapporo bottle opener is functional but cool.

Story

This trip was on of our longest, we spent nearly a whole month meeting makers, visiting markets across Nagoya, Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka as well as visiting some of our favourite antique stores and homewares shops along the way. We think this might be one of the sourcing trips to date, this collection includes lots of baskets, one-off ceramics and of course some animals. Each one was hand-selected and curated by Tara herself.

Osaka is a large port city and commercial center on the Japanese island of Honshu. It's known for its modern architecture, nightlife and hearty street food. The 16th-century shogunate Osaka Castle, which has undergone several restorations, is its main historical landmark.
