Scroll downNigel Peake is an Irish Architect who is known for his unique drawing style. This series of a Japanese Garden was produced in 2019. The gardens are a risograph print on Munken paper. This body of work was limited to only 50 of each. We were lucky to get our hands on a couple that you can enjoy at home, framed or unframed. Upon first glance, each garden looks the same but the more you pay attention, the more you notice they are 3 completely different parts of the landscape.

About
Nigel Peake is a contemporary artist and illustrator known for his distinctive and intricate works that seamlessly blend elements of architecture, urban landscapes, and nature. Born in Northern Ireland, Peake's early education in architecture laid the foundation for his unique artistic style. His fascination with the built environment, geometric shapes, and patterns is evident in his work, which often explores the relationship between man-made structures and the natural world.
Story
While we are in Japan we spend a lot of time in book stores, they are our favourite places to get lost for a few hours. We first discovered Peake's work a while back and were delighted when we came across his book of Hotel drawings on our travels through book stores in Tokyo earlier this year. We are so delighted to be able to offer some of his limited edition works and our fav hotel drawings collection. Each one is in very limited numbers.
