Story
Mino Ware is the traditional pottery produced in the Gifu prefecture Japan. This region has a long history of crafting ceramics and is still one of the biggest creators of ceramics out of Japan.
Origin
Gifu Prefecture, Japan
Gifu is a city in central Japan. Gifu Castle overlooks the city from atop Mt. Kinka. A cable car connects the castle to Gifu Park at the foot of the mountain. Within the park, the Nawa Insect Museum displays thousands of butterflies and beetles. Kawaramachi Street is lined with traditional wood-latticed craft shops.
