This incarnation of the beloved gauze towel from Shinto is a collaborative piece we worked on together.

Created by using a special weave in which the middle of the triple gauze fabric is halved using 20-count cotton yarn. By weaving irregularly it results in a soft, unique touch and also means it has strong water absorption for quick drying. Use this one in the bathroom or kitchen.

Story

A while back when we were staying in Kyoto, we found these towels in the hotel. We were so impressed at the softness and absorbency that we hunted down the owner of the brand, Mr. Takashi and asked to work together. We have been bringing his towels into Australia ever since. They are super lightweight, absorbent and very fast drying.
