Released as the latest version of R1398 CHUNKY RIBBED CREW SOCKS, this item can be paired with even more versatile types of shoes with slightly thicker fabric and keeping the same simple design. Each one is knitted with organic cotton yarn by an old-style low-gauge knitting machine that only a few craftsmen can operate. The retro colour-ways are inspired by the 80s and 90s. The fabric is thick and durable, but still remains breathable thanks to the chunky stitches. Each pair goes well not just with sneakers but also with sandals.

Machine Wash (Avoid tumble drying)

*Due to the characteristics of chunky, low-gauge socks, this product may have loose yarns or elastic thread around the cuff after repeated use and washing, but it does not necessarily mean that the fabric is fraying. Do not pull loose yarns, simply cut them off from the roots with scissors.

Size S: 23-25cm (6-8)
Size M: 25-27cm (8-10)
Size L: 27-29cm (10-12)

ROTOTO is made by our friends in Goryocho Village and the Nara Prefecture of Japan. Sock making began there over 100 years ago on a single machine brought over from the U.S.A. Continuing to make socks based on the principles of "lifetime consumables" and comfort, they blend sustainable yarns including organic cotton, silk, and linen to create the best socks you'll ever set foot in.

ROTOTO's socks can be made only with a combination of the right material, the right machine and craftsmanship. Their aim is to preserve the tradition inherited from their ancestors, while painting the future of the major producer of socks with a fresh point of view.
