Akahada-ware is a traditional pottery style from Nara, Japan. Its simple beautifully designed pieces are designed for everyday living and blend traditional crafts with modern needs. About 

This 8th generation kiln is famous for their Akahada-ware, a traditional pottery style from Nara. Akahada-yaki is the most famous traditional fold art in Nara City. 

This special kiln is run by master potter, Gyozo Furuse, who graduated from Kyoto City University of Arts in 1959. Their pieces are designed for everyday living and blend traditional crafts with modern day needs.
