Yamato Yanagiba Knife
Made by Shizu Hamono Co. in Seki, Gifu this knife is useful for cutting various ingredients for a variety of Japanese and western cuisine. Designed with a double-edged blades to make cutting easy for both left and right handed user. The hammered marks are made to prevent food sticking to the blade.
The handle is made of reinforced laminated wood that is easy to grip and tough against water.
Seki is famous for producing quality knives in Japan dating back 800 years ago.
