VDLC "Voler dans le ciel" (I want to fly in the sky) was established in 2009, with a desire to cherish Japanese craftsmanship and craft timeless products. VDLC canvas is woven in the Okayama Prefecture in partnership with a 3rd generation manufacturer. The fabric is carefully woven by skilled craftsmen for durability, and by deliberately weaving heavy No. 6 thread (plain weave) roughly, it has a lightness and softness that can be uncommon in thicker canvas totes. Each tote has a natural, worn look that is born from a pursuit of creating a piece to use every day.
